There were about 15 dents that needed glue pulling to repair. The roof rail on most modern vehicles does not have access to the back of the panel for regular PDR tools. This is why the only option to remove the dents is using the glue pulling method. The repair process involved using special PDR glue and PDR Tabs to pull up the dents. The special hammers and knockdowns are used to blend the metal back down. Glue pulling dents is not just a “one pull shot” where just by gluing a tab to the car and pulling it will result in a completed finished flat repair. The Glue pulling process requires multiple pulls and knocking down and blending to flatten out the metal. With the dents on this truck roof rail being sharp and on the edge of the panel required multiple attempts to pull out the dents. This type of repair can take several hours to do even for a professionally experienced PDR tech.
