Mammoth Mountain Bike – The Fine Details Mammoth Mountain Bike Park Opening Day this season was Friday, May 27th, 2022 with Trails open from just above chair 4 down to Canyon and Eagle Lodges. Trails now open range from Beginner to Intermediate to Advanced and up to Pro. They plan to open more terrain each week until they have the park 100% open. Crews have been dealing with runoff and excessive erosion this year from the heavy rains that fell last October. Yes some 15+ inches of rain fell from the arch storm that came thru that month. Bike Park Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM Daily into September (Weather Permitting) Bike Park Lifts Open at this time area: Panorama Gondola from Main Lodge to Mid Chalet and then to the Summit starting July 1st. ( You can scenic ride to the top now, but they make you leave your bike behind.) Gondola 1 to MC Coy Station, G2 to the top on Friday, July 1st. Chair 11 to the Discovery Zone Mammoth Bike Park Shuttle from the Village at Mammoth at Canyon Blvd – Get your tickets and bike rentals right here at the mountain center Also starting to run Friday into Sundays through the Summer will be Discovery Chair 11 & Stumpy Alley Express (Chair 2) out of the Mill will start running Friday into Sundays on Friday, July 1st. For those Riding Friday, Saturday and Sundays get your tickets at the Village and then park at Canyon Lodge to keep out of the busy Main Lodge area. The Stump Alley lot can fill up quickly, plan on being there by 9 AM to get a parking spot inside the lot. Mammoth Bike Park Bike Rentals: You can get rentals at 2 places, down in Mammoth Lakes at Footloose Sports or at the Mountain Center in the Village. You will also find bike rentals up at Main Lodge.
