This time im reacting to this facebook post promo about truck crashes. It’s called Hauling Danger. So this promo has already drawn angry responses for what many feel is an alarmist portrayal of the trucking industry. HERE’S SOME QUOTES FROM THE PROMO: “Sideswipes. Tip overs. Deadly accidents. Could this happen to your family next?” “Typical scare journalists, look up the facts. Car drivers are the leading cause of traffic collisions.“ “How about fixing the true problem and teach people how to drive around semis” Look I’ve been driving since I was 14 I love to drive the open road I have always given the Simi trucks driver there respect on the road. Respect on the road is what it’s all about. I feel some kinda way about this promo and I think it just puts us drivers in a bad light. Not show the truth what really goes on out here on the roads. It’s stressful that we’re held to a much higher standard while driving these 80,000 machines. Only to blamed for most of the roads traffic accidents. Which 80% of them is NOT caused by the Simi truck drivers. But are caused by distracted 4wheeler drivers. Ok YouTube / Facebook get at me in the comments and let me know what you think..
