Intel X99 $1.7K Editing PC Build Prt. 1 - Components HD

Part 1 of my excellent editing PC build on the latest X99 platform. In this part of the series I tell you about what components I chose and why I chose them. The advantages of the new Haswell-E processors was something that I had to get my hands on. The Intel 5820K was a great choice and it is very powerful. Being that this will be used for editing rather than gaming I went for the GTX 760 from EVGA. The lighting from NZXT turned out to be pretty sour so I pulled it from the build. The Asus monitor also came with some dead pixels(twice) so I am making a change there. I also may paint the panel on the 760 to better match the color scheme.
