Using Aluminium cleaner to clean oxidized cast alloy engine parts, using various strength ratios you can clean with this Acidic cleaner, some have had success using a highly caustic solution first (this is most water soluble degreaser) which in most cases turns the alloy black, then using this acidic solution lifts the black out of the surface.
