Japan Way: rugby training preparation

Every day that we have a rugby field session, we perform a thorough training preparation / activation in the early morning. These sessions will or may include: - vibration - MRT (1v1 with coaches) - PNF (1v1 with coaches) - unstable loads - core and hip activation - rotational strength - multijoint resistance movements - position specific core and hip activation You cannot expect players to perform at optimum level without a thorough preparation. If this is done earlier in the day, then the on field warm can be highly specific and skill based.
