Michael placed some things on the coffee table and looked out at the window, shaking his head as he saw Demi sitting by the porch, staring at space. It was weird for him to see how Demi was taking in what happened with her and Joe; she was usually a very strong, tough woman and whether she wanted or not to show, she was hurt and it was clear for everyone.
