Notes from the video. - Digoxin is a cardiac glycoside - It is used in heart failure - It inhibits Na-K ATPase pump and thereby increases intracellular Ca after sequence of events. Increased Ca helps cardiac myocyte contract better. - Digoxin and K competes with other for same binding site on Na-K ATPase. - In case of hypokalaemia there are chances of digoxin toxicity and in hyperkalemia digoxin effect may reduce.
