Easy Casita Plug N Play Solar Set Up (with Goal Zero Hack) (165) HD
We are always in the process of learning. We welcome all comments and suggestions. We use a 200 Watt Renogy Monocrystalline Solar Suitcase with our deep cycle, flooded lead acid battery. We also use a Goal Zero Yeti 400 clean generator. Since we are often staying at campgrounds this is sufficient for our current needs. We would like to have the panels mounted in the near future. That will help free up space in the truck and make boondocking much easier and help us blend in a bit better. The campground seen in this video does not offer any services at all. While it was free when we stayed here, the owners of the land are now asking $20 per night. There is a collection box and it is on the honur system. We found it using the iOverlander app. It is tucked into Sleepy Cove in Crow Head, Newfoundland. This dry camping site is one of our top sites to date. It is too beautiful for words. There are also many hiking trails that lead away from and to this camping ground. Long Point Lighthouse was a short hike from our site. The story we heard is that the land owners tried to build a campground but abandoned the effort when they realized they couldn’t get electric or water to the campsites. that is why the gravel sites are level and are equipped with picnic tables.
