If you love donuts (and who doesn’t?) here’s a simple recipe hack to make your own at home in fifteen minutes or less! Break open a tube of dough, punch out the holes, whip up some homemade glaze — don’t worry, it’s only two ingredients — bake, top, and enjoy! Babble Eats is a new instructional series that shows busy parents how to make quick, fun, and easy dishes: new twists on old classics, fun presentation ideas, kitchen hacks that save time or take things up a notch, and remixes that give new life to familiar ingredients. Blueberry Glaze Biscuit Donuts Makes: 8 Ingredients 1 (16 ounce) container of biscuit dough 1 cup powdered sugar 1/4 cup blueberries 1 teaspoon lemon zest Supplies: bottle cap Directions Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a cookie sheet with foil. Open biscuits and place on cookie sheet. Use a bottle cap that is about an inch in width to use as a cookie cutter for donut holes. TIP: Don’t forget to save the “donut” holes. Place the cookie sheet in the oven for about 10 minutes or until biscuits are golden and cookies through. While biscuits are baking prepare the glaze. Place the powdered sugar, blueberries, and lemon zest in a blender or food processor. Add more blueberries or powdered sugar until desired consistency, you’ll want it thick yet pourable.
