Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP AGS-101 No Backlight Repair HD

I scored a GBA SP AGS-101 backlit model for only $20 off Ebay sold "as is" and not turning on. I took the risk and when it arrived it would turn on and the screen worked but the backlight would not turn on. Turns out the last two wires on the screen ribbon connector were torn. All I had to do was tape the cable to prevent further damage and manually solder two wires between the motherboard and screen and I have yet another working gameboy to add to my collection.
