Beaver Axe - introduction and over view HD

Upsides : -excellent handle / head alignment -handle has no obvious defects -deep primary grind -thin edge -head is center balanced Downsides : -handle is insanely thick/heavy -edge is not sharp -visible and blackened burr -metal wedge has split the handle -no sheath/guard -painted head I cleaned up the edge after this video. Filed a 17.5 dps bevel (not intentionally that just closely matched the existing). The steel worked easily, that big burr just folded around and then peeled off - obviously over heated metal.
