Grand Prix Winners of the One World Award 2017: United World Colleges in Freiburg and India

Every three years, the One World Award is given out by the organic food producer Rapunzel and IFOAM (International Federation of organic agriculture movements) in Legau (Allgäu) during the One World Festival, which attracts over 20,000 people from all over Germany. In 2017, the United World Colleges in Freiburg & India were chosen as Grand Prix Winners for their approach to education and their emphasis on social justice, diversity and promoting biodiversity and a sustainable lifestyle. The award is doted at 15,000 Euros, which both Colleges will invest to support student scholarships.
