WORST SEAT ON AN AIRPLANE: Uzbekistan Airways Economy Class | Boeing 757-200 | Tashkent - Bukhara HD
#uzbekistan #uzairways #avgeek Hello Aviation Lovers, In this unique perspective series I am covering regional airlines that I would not normally fly, being based in south east Asia. I would like to share my experience on Uzbekistan Airways on board their Boeing 757-200 from Tashkent International Airport (TAS) to Bukhara Airport, both in Uzbekistan. This was from my Central Asia trip nearly a year ago. This was a short 1 hr 40 mins flight. As you can expect there was no frill on this flight, however the flight was on time. The domestic airport in Tashkent though was very basic, with limited amenities available. My biggest complain was the lack of legroom on this aircraft, which was surprising given it also flies international route to Russian cities. There was no online check in facilities and no special lane for passengers without a check in luggage. As the result I had to wait for nearly 30 minutes to get myself checked in while I being the fifth passengers on the line. Overall, it was a decent flight and I wouldn’t hesitate to fly on Uzbekistan airways again. However, hopefully not on board their Boeing 757-200.
