I’ve been working on it for far too long (and it doesn’t even show, I know lol) that I’m just so exhausted over this project… and exhausted in general! It’s been a long couple days, weeks, whatever… you get the point! I’ve never done a Clexa AU before, but I knew I wanted to one day and I guess that day is now. I am still not over these two nor will I ever be… ask my friends, I legit sobbed on call while editing this while they laughed their asses off (rude af right?!) Clexa will always be THAT ship for me. Storyline: Clarke and Lexa fall in love before Lexa becomes the Commander. She avoids ascension due to her love for Clarke being her number one priority, but she knows they will never let her love for Clarke prevent her from becoming Commander so they force her hand by torturing Clarke to the point Lexa relents and ascends. When Lexa becomes Commander, Clarke is very upset as she knows what Lexa will become. The girl she loved becomes unrecognizable as she fulfills her duties and Clarke begins to hate the person Lexa has become because of it. Lexa understands Clarke’s pain, but keeps the stoic Commander mask in place (for the most part). She still loves Clarke even if she can’t exactly show it. Lexa has not forgotten about Abby torturing Clarke so she has Abby killed for revenge, completely losing Clarke in the process. Titus can see that Lexa will always love Clarke, so he tries to kill her. Lexa gets in the line of fire and ends up dying for her love for Clarke. Those feelings Clarke stored away comes rushing to the surface when Lexa dies, and she grieves for the love of her life. Clearly I’m not good at happy endings… sorry lol BUT VERY IMPORTANTLY, this is a late birthday video for my girl Honey (TheSerialLove)… Honey, first I wanna apologize that this is literally almost a MONTH late, but better late than never right?
