Laowa 17mm f/1.8 MFT 4K 50p/60p Video Test (Tested with GH5S) This is the Laowa 17mm f/1.8 4K video test for micro four thirds system. 17mm works out like 35mm lens on a full frame camera. So what so excited about this lens? First, this is a very affordable MFT lens. Its around US$150. Second, the build quality. Even though its a cheap lens. But you wouldn’t believe it was still made from a metal. Third, Sharpness. I was surprised the lens is still very sharp even at this price point. Although it might get a small vignette when shooting wide open. But once you have stopped down to f/2.8. It looks just fine.
