On Gotta Love Carpet Pythons, l want to discuss some facts with both the parent with children who want to have a snake. Of course, l use Apani as an example for this video because she is little and cute but understanding the commitment and care of a snake is huge and l just wanted parents to not just get a snake for their children before understanding what that really means should you decide to get one. l am not against any child having a snake at all, l just would like those to stop and weigh up what that actually means and what we know is involved with caring for a snake before they make a decision. l take you outside to show you, Bud, my duck who is growing fast and is getting to know me now, plus the miserable wet weather we are having at this time so l cannot take my snakes out at the moment. l hope this video gives some parents and children a good idea if they are ready to care for a snake.
