Look @ Gecko Linux 42.3 - Barebones & LXQt - YaST Live Installer I take a look at Gecko Linux, Barebones Static installation done with the YaST Live Installer instead of the Calamares Installer. I install Gecko Linux into Virtualbox and then install the LXQt desktop with the Software Manager in YaST. The Barebones ISO is only 780 MB and includes the Openbox window manager and very little else, just enough to get the system installed and then the real fun begins with building your own system with the Software Manager.
