Under the scorching sun, Gena quietly lied there and waited for the fate’s arrangement

Gena lied beside the pavement under an extreme hot weather. He seemed to be in an accident that caused his 2 two broken backlegs. Moving around was so difficult. If he weren’t be saved on time, Gena would be exhausted due to dehydration and the heat. After feeding him, I took him with me. He didn’t have enough nutrients and lived in bad conditions; therefore, Gena was malnourished and dehydrated. His examination result revealed that he was positive to pinworm infection. This was the most unfortunate case that we had rescued recently. With all the pain that Gena had been suffering, he was completely panicked. Now his condition was so weak, he was washed out and silentyly lied in a corner. I tried to ease his fear, hoping that he would be more cooperated. About his treatment: one injection daily (anitbiotics) and treating the wound near his eyes. Gena needed absolute clean and sterilized atmosphere. He needed to be more communicative and I wanted to earn his trust. He was so little, about 8 months old. That big boy deserved a new better life. Doctors started to put him on a diet with nutrients, blood tonic, vitamins and milk to strengthen his resistance. His wound gradually healed after being treated the right method. There was no wound drainage anymore. But when I touched his head, his reaction was quickly pulling back his neck. I thought Gena had been through a lot when he was only a little kid. Gena still needed to treat the ulcer every day and give injections every other day. But when he completely revived, he would no longer need to take medication. He started to understand that everything we did was to help him through. Since then, his heart started to opened up for love. His cuteness touched our hearts all.
