Family members, villagers, well-wishers, official paid homage to Lt .Tirong Aboh and ten others on its first death anniversary Thousands of people joined the day of commemoration held today at Dadam Village, Tirap Former Minister Lt Tirong Aboh along with ten others were assassinated by NSCN on 21st May 2019 Lt Aboh was the contesting candidate from NPP in 2019 Assembly Election, and also won the election NSCN militants opened fire at their vehicles near 12 Mile area in the Tirap district at around 11.30 am. Besides Lt Aboh, his son, his security personnel and supporter were killed in the assassination SP Tirap Kardak Riba, Circle Office Dadam Pik Tayom, Chiefs/GBs from Dadam circle, Family members of all 11 deceased attended the event Book and Documentary on "Untold Story of Inborn Leader - Late Tirong Aboh was released by his wife cum MLA Chakat Aboh and Birds were also released by Chonnya Aboh, daughter of Lt Aboh as a mark of peace and tribute Mass prayer and two minutes of silence was also observed as a mark of condolence
