Rather than giving my Mamma traditional flowers for this year’s Mother’s Day, I decided to give her CAKE! She couldn’t tell the difference though (see the end of the vid). This week I show you how I made these flower pot cakes with chocolate cake, coffee buttercream and fondant. I even sprinkled them with edible dirt and decorated them with real flowers! Hint: If you want to avoid working with fondant, you can bake cakes in a terracotta pot, just grease it and line with parchment paper to cover the drainage hole! Happy Caking!
