Greg Farrell of the Maritime Historial Radio Society and H-set project participant, opened with a few words to everyone that the project of restoring the transmitter was now complete, and turns it over to the National Park Service and the American people. Point Reyes National Seashore (National Park Service) Park Superintendent Cicely Muldoon gave a short speech on the project and what it will mean to future generations. Point Reyes National Seashore has a rich mix of natural and historically significant wonders that the public can explore....and there is no admission fee to explore and enjoy this beautiful National treasure. In the video, you will see her do the honors to pushing the power-on button, which sets the power-up sequence timers in motion to the point of "plate ready". She then pushes the "plate on" button and you will see the "plate power on" light come on. A 10 minute dedication communication in CW (Morse Code) then follows the ceremony, going out across the world at roughly 5000 watts power in the next video, Bolinas #9.
