My Trimble 5600 set up: Powering the instrument and remote target HD

Do not purchase a 5600 instrument without obtaining a Trimble Power Stick/Rod first! These are extremely hard to come by, unlike the other parts of the kit. If you happen to come across one, the kind folks at surveybattery.com will re-cell it for you, if needed.
