I booked the Luxury room with King bed and that was inclusive of breakfast buffet. It cost around Rs.9600 including tax. However, I did write to the team at Taj to seek permission to shoot and also requested for an upgrade. The Team at Taj took care of all my dining and I was very grateful because I got to experience a very luxurious staycation. I paid for the room but the upgrade was complimentary - they upgraded me to a club room with Infinity Sea View on the 23rd floor. This is by far the best sea view room in Mumbai that I have experienced. This room cost approx Rs.13000 + tax. The Atrium Bar and Lounge at Taj Lands End served a high tea menu. I visited the lounge itself but requested them to serve the high tea in my room and they granted this. this is not a high tea buffet, but it does still feel very luxurious. I think this would cost approx Rs.2000 for 2. This was a complimentary experience for me. For dinner I visited Masala Bay, an Indian restaurant in Taj. This was my first time ever dining here and the Chef arranged for tasting portions for me, complimentary. The portion size is therefore small, and not representative of the actual serving size. Here is everything I tried with the approx rates: Broccoli shorba - Rs.500 Tehedaar Paneer - Rs.1000 Subz Lifafa - Rs.1000 Nimona Tikki - Rs.1000 Palak Patta Chaat - Rs.1000 Phaldari Kofta - Rs.1100 Dum Aloo - Rs.1100 Palak Lehsuni - Rs.1100 Dal Makhni - Rs.1100 Makhmali Naan - Rs.300 Multigrain Roti - Rs.300 Dum Biryani - Rs.1200 Kulfi Falooda - Rs.700 I was grateful to visit Chambers - a private invite only club at Taj Bandra and share the sunrise and dining experience from there. Ming Yang was my last restaurant. This asian restaurant has been on my list for a long time and finally I got to try something here. I only tried Manchow Soup and Dimsums. And these were complimentary as well for me. But I do want to head here for a full meal real soon.
