Browning AB3 30-06 | On the Range!
I went to the local rifle range this morning to shoot my Browning AB3 30-06 Stalker rifle. I had planned on an archery hunt, but it was raining some at daybreak and I do not climb wet trees or climb in the rain, period. So, I got some breakfast and went to the rifle range and shot 3 brands of ammo though the AB3. All brands shot great and I had pretty good groupings. The only problem was with me not being a great rifle shooter and not the gun. In the right hands, all the groups would have been sub MOA. Please like and subscribe and leave a comment. UPDATE: I realized after uploading this footage, I did not explain how I "made my adjustments" to get the group closer to the bullseye. It is very simple. Shoot a 3 shot group at 50 yards (after scope has been bore-sighted to get shots on paper) and once you have a good "group". Put gun in a vise (like I have in my video) and make sure it is not able to move. Put the cross hair on the "good" group and move the wind-age and elevation until the cross hair is centered on the bullseye. Shoot a few more shots. (You should be close! If not, check your scope mounts for looseness.) If you have bore-sighted your gun, you should be able to sight in the rife in 4-6 shots at 50. (I sighted-in my 30-06 about 2 inches high at 50 yards and it hit about an inch or so high at 100 yards.) Thanks soo much for watching! Take care and God bless ya!
