North East Skill Centre opens at Garchuk, Guwahati HD

Hon’ble CM Shri Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the North East Skill Centre (NESC) at Garchuk, Guwahati on March 7, 2019. The first of its kind institute in the North East, NESC will provide specialised industry driven skill training to students in various sectors as per prevailing industry requirements. A fulfillment of MoU signed between Govt of Assam and Govt of Singapore, NESC will change paradigm of skill training in the region. The NESC is a joint collaboration between Assam Skill Development Mission and the reputed Institute of Technical Educational Services, Singapore. “Blessed with youth power, India stands on the threshold of being one of the most developed nations. I believe the North East Skill Centre will play a pivotal role in skilling our youth, enabling them to chanellise their talents to take the country to greater heights,” said the CM. #NESC
