USSSA 2nd Annual All American Games Opening Day Ceremony HD

He was chosen as a "TOP PERFORMER" by the USSSA scouts at his tryout earlier this year. He played for the North East Region and was 1 of over 2,300 kids that tried out from across the country to make the 13u team. There were 8 teams in total and Xavier was 1 of 88-92 kids that were in attendance that were chosen for their team representing their region. Xavier had a great experience. He got along well with all of the coaches and staff that were on hand. He made new friends, with kids on his team and kids from across the country, and even faced a pitcher from the SOUTH EAST regional team, that he met and played against while playing in Bradenton, FL at Baseball Factory at the Under Armour National Team event held in Pirate City, 3 weeks earlier. Xavier got a base hit when he faced him in Pirate City and once again got a TRIPLE off of him here in a USSSA game. Xavier played on the same home spring training fields as the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros. At the opening ceremony, the people on hand were USSSA Vice President Matt Trebuchon, Power Showcase founder Brian Domenico, who had called and personally invited Xavier earlier in the year to attend the Power Showcase being held this December in Miami, FL at the Florida Marlins Stadium and who at the end of the video Xavier is personally introducing himself to, Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez along with his brother Livan Hernandez, USSSA regional scouts and many more.
