How to Convert a LaTeX ebook to ePUB (LaTeX Advanced Tutorial-22) HD
In this lecture, we will learn to convert a latex document to ePUB format. For this, we will use texstudio and calibre software. ----------- EPUB is an e-book file format that has the "epub" filename extension. EPUB files can be read using complying software on devices such as smartphones, tablets, computers, or e-readers. EPUB is a technical standard published by the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF). The term is short for electronic publication and is sometimes styled ePub. EPUB became an official standard of the IDPF in September 2007, superseding the older Open eBook standard. The Book Industry Study Group endorses EPUB 3 as the format of choice for packaging content and has stated that the global book publishing industry should rally around a single standard. The EPUB format is implemented as an archive file consisting of HTML files carrying the content, along with images and other supporting files. EPUB is the most widely supported vendor-independent XML-based (as opposed to PDF) e-book format; that is, it is supported by the largest number of hardware readers. Source: Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPUB) Calibre is a cross-platform open-source suite of e-book software. Calibre supports organizing existing e-books into virtual libraries, displaying, editing, creating and converting e-books, as well as syncing e-books with a variety of e-readers. Editing books is supported for EPUB and AZW3 formats. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Sample file: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- If this worked and helped you ► Do not forget to Like, Comment, and Subscribe! ================================================= ► To Watch all our videos, click here - https://goo.gl/aCCrzi ► Subscribe to our channel, click here - https://goo.gl/9QCQhC
