A tornado hits Greene County TN on April 27 2011. Greene County was devastated. It has never ceased to amaze me how a tornado can move from one house to another all the while skipping over others, as you can see in all the pictures out there of this dreadful night . This brought family, friends, neighbors and strangers in our county together and closer than ever before. ALL the emergency personnel in our county were involved in one way or another in helping the people of our county. This is still not over for most of us that live in the area. From mourning the loss of loved ones we will never see again, to healing from the wounds of that night. Even if the houses are fixed and things are starting to look normal again there is still that deep seated fear everytime that thunder starts to roll and the lightning lights up the sky.
