The second Wings for Life World Run was an unforgettable day of athletic prowess and fundraising. Thousands of Athletes across 35 locations pushed themselves to the limit in the global charity run which raises money to help find a cure for spinal cord injury. Lemawork Ketema retained his title with a winning mark of 79,9km and Yuko Watanabe won a maiden crown for Japan. Aron Anderson became the first wheelchair athlete to win a national title when he was last to be caught in Kalmar-Oeland, Sweden after 64.8km.
