Kbands Leg Resistance Bands and this Hockey Conditioning Lateral Power Drill will activate all the muscles of the legs in a dynamic mode to increase speed and power. Choose the proper resistance band and strap on the Kbands leg Resistance Bands. To set up the drill, all that is necessary is a bench or board set at an incline. The player will begin in a lunge position a couple of yards away from the incline. From the lunge position; explode in a lateral motion shuffling toward the incline. Meet the incline with the closest foot and then explode from the incline back to the starting position. Perform 6 in and outs on each leg for an intense and effective lateral power hockey drill. After completing this drill repeat 2 in and outs of the same motion and then sprint ten yards forward, turn and sprint back to the starting position.
