One Door Closing

******* READ PLEASE******** or you will not under stand If you are good friends with you will know that in Dec. two very special horses had to be put down. Payday dec. 6, 2008 and vickey dec. 7, 2008. On the same weekend by the same vet Dr. Witlow. Payday broke his pastern bone while i was warming him up. the vet said he just missed placed his foot and tripped the wrong way. but the hard thing was the fact Payday never even acted like he had broke it we just keep thinging he busted an absase. but even in the video there is a video of him rolling with his leg in a cast he never gave up and kept fighting. but when the vet called he had split his patern and dislocated his ankle. we put him down the next day. Sat. Dec 6 2008 Vickey died the next day. She was own lease to a good friend when they went out to catch horses. when they got out and ran down the road. Vickey was blind in one eye and she didnt see the fence the neihbors where working on and flipped over and had a fence post go through her stomach. getting a call saying that your horse is hurt is like getting a phone call saying your Child is hurt. I got there and a peice of her large inteste was hanging out. It was on a sunday afternoon and it took three hours to get a vet but she held strong. When Dr. Witlow arrived he thought she had not punctured any organs and was postive we could place the intestine back in because thanks to Pinky had the idea to keep iodine on the tissue that was exposed to keep it alive. we stated an IV and gave her the setative but her mind was not al there her body was laying down before her mind and when she realived she was falling she got scared and jumped over me and into a ditch and almost broke her neck and crushed me. thats when i knew she was done fighting i sat down next to her head and she put her head in my lap her blind eye was facing up but i know she knew it was me she nugged my leg as if to say it hurts mom i just keep saying we will fix it you can go run and buck in no time. and before the vet could look i gave the vet a nod and he knew she had busted the intested that was hanging out. That night it was 26 degrees and we all suffered from hypotherea. The next day was slow it was like i was numb all over i wasnt cold i just shook its like something was missing. But then i got another phone call. My heart stopped when i saw who it was Caitlin. my first thought was what had happened i could not handle another lost, but before i could ask this is what i hear " Is there any chance Cianna had been with a stud before i got her from your grandpa" my head started spinning i knew my miracle had happened. The lord will never let one door close with out another one opening. Is what Pinky keep saying to me while vicky layed in my lap. and now i know why He simply needed to take some to put some more down. Thanks to everyone that helped me through this bump in the road. lets pray for a healthy foal. IT is do any day now. He is here now A healthy stu
