There are times that a movie, book, song, some form artistic expression comes along at precisely the right time to make a huge difference in the psyche of a community. Recently we have seen an outpouring of artistic expression that is just right to get us through these trying times. I have been turning to music, books and movies as a way to get me through and more importantly as a source of inspiration for my own work. In the music area I have been deeply inspired by Jordan Page his “Ballad of LaVoy Finicum” and Heist Click’s “Super Nova.” Certain movies come out just at the right time, encapsulating the inner-dialog of a generation. One film that I think will be part of our cultural memory when we look back upon this time in reflection; I believe we will remember the upcoming movie AmeriGEDDON as an integral reflection of our fears, hopes and part of what we are preparing for in our own ways.
