Stick between the rep range of 5-12 for optimal muscle hypertrophy as the force needs to be heavy enough to create damage, but is also light enough to perform for enough repetitions to create the damage. Variables such as increasing volume and shortening rest times will also lead to progressive overload. Have a well balanced diet, drink plenty of water and get your protein not only from meat but from grains,pulses, nuts and seeds.
