B1.3 Building an easy beginner Lego MindStorms EV3 robot; step 3 of 5 HD

In this video aimed at beginners, we take the wheels and motors from step 2, and connect them to our Lego MindStorms EV3 Computer Brick. This tutorial is step 3 of 5 in which we build our first simple Lego MindStorms EV3 robot called Bot-ticelli. We have used used this activity as the first robot build in a 2-hour class. This 5-part quick build allows us to build the robot, use it to do something, and still have time to take the robot apart to make the Lego sets available for use in another class. We use videos because the classes include some students who have English as a second language. The videos include brief closed captions that may be translated into about 53 languages using the inbuilt Google translator. Have fun!
