We wanted to create a soundtrack with that paid homage to some of our favorite sci-fi films (#StarWars, #BackToTheFuture, #Tron) and modern military video game that took the combat to space (#CallOfDuty #Xcom). We started by mixing some original dynamic riffs and sounds recordings, finding ways to bring together the different sci-fi themes. After few months we had a large library with hundreds of patterns, tunes, samples and sounds that were easy to play around with and rearrange. We made a whole bunch of tracks and picked out the best ones for the soundtrack of Hybrid Wars.
