SSD vs HDD - Startup & Shutdown of Windows 7 VM HD

Demonstrating the speed of SSD drives. This video compares boot times as well as shutdown times. I used VMware for this comparison. I installed Windows 7 64-bit in a VM and gave it 8GB of RAM & 4 vCPUs. This VM was placed on a dedicated SSD. I shutdown the VM and cloned it to a dedicated Desktop HDD. I then booted each on separately and timed it. Timer stops after both Chrome and Internet Explorer auto load at startup, and I successfully browse to intel.com in Chrome.
