How To Find Super Slow Motion On A Panasonic HC-X1 4k Video Camera | 120 fps HD
Tutorial If You Can’t Find Slow Motion On The HC-X1 Camera No More INVALID Message Subscribe: https://goo.gl/6u2E87 I believe this should also work for Panasonic AG-UX90 and Panasonic AG-UX180 Super Slow Motion. I’ve had my Panasonic HC-X1 4K Video Camera for over a week and I had no idea how to unlock the 120fps super slow motion feature. There wasn’t a lot of information online or on YouTube, so I thought I’d make a tutorial to show owners of the camera how to access this somewhat hidden feature. You may have found the Slow Motion option in the User Customization menu and assigned it to a User button. But after that you probably still got the INVALID message on screen when you tried to go slow-mo. The secret is that you have to change the Record Format in the System Mode menu to one of 2 specific modes. Not only that, but the 2 modes are kind of hidden, and you have to scroll all the way down to find them down there. FHD 1080p 23.97 fps 50M or FHD 1080p 29.97p 50M. If you select any other mode, any other frame rate or any other M besides 50 it will not work. Once everything is set, the custom button you created will now work for Super Slow. Unlike 60fps slow motion, the 120fps slow motion actually outputs in 24 or 30 fps already slowed down to 1/4th speed slow motion. You do not have to do anything in post production. You will not get a file at 120fps. It will not record any audio, and because you should manually set the frame rate to 1/250 (double the frame rate for cinema motion blur) it does not work well indoors without adding a lot of grain with gain (you can see the dancing part is really bad looking and not just due to the dancing.
