Man Arrested For Hate Speech from Old City Hyderabad | Hate Speech | Hussaini Alam police station HD

The South Zone police along with the Task Force arrested one person for allegedly making hate speech here on Monday. The arrested suspect was identified as Y Vijay Kumar, 36, the director of Christ Gospel Team and a resident of Kothapet Chowrastha. He was a native of Ravulapalem, East Godavari District. According to the police, on December 7, one T Kunal Rao lodged a complaint at the Hussaini Alam police station alleging that Vijay had made a derogatory speech against the ‘Bharat Matha’ and that the speech was doing rounds on social media. The Hussaini Alam police booked a case and took up investigation and arrested him. Police said his speech was prejudicial to maintenance of harmony and that he had an intention to disturb public tranquility.
