Pokemon Emerald Movie part 2 May, The Prodigy Trainer

May has just arrived to her new home with her mom in Littleroot town, After unpacking, May goes to greet her neighbors, but Prof. Birch is gone, but May at least managed to meet his son, Brendan, who will soon become her rival in her Pokemon journey. When May goes out of Littleroot to look for Birch, he is attacked by a wild Zigzagoon. May goes for the bag that has all 3 of the starting Pokemon rookie trainers of Hoenn choose. May selects Torchic, then the party starts. Too bad Brendan only had cameos in the Jirachi Wish Maker and Temple Of the Sea and the Giratina Sky Warrior Pokemon movies. He would have been a great rival for Ash in his journey around Hoenn, or at least Wally.
