I got negative feedback from a parent so I went back to the videos to see if the parent was justified. I noticed I was not smiling while the student was thinking or writing. It looked pretty bad. So I realized that I noticed that I needed to smile even when the student is working on something. I also decided to start moving my body more to raise the energy. Finally, I upped my TPR game because it truly does energize the lesson and helps the students retain the vocabulary.
