Why Casey Neistat Is Ending His Daily Vlog & What It Means For The Future Of Vlogging HD

You either know everything about his life, or you know nothing about him at all… YouTuber turned vlogger, Casey Neistat is just one of many who have legitimized the art of ‘volgging’ over the past few years by documenting his everyday life… literally every. Single. Day. However, in his last and final vlog posted to YouTube on Saturday, titled, “I’m ending the vlog,” he revealed that he’s found an easy rhythm in vlogging, saying QUOTE, “I know how to do this, and do it in a way that’s pretty easy, and have it make me very successful on YouTube, and make a great living via AdSense and grow this reach,” but there’s one thing that it hasn’t been doing… Casey has gained over 5 million subscribers and a billion YouTube views since beginning his vlog in early 2015, but was very up front with fans in his final video, which has racked up over 5 million views, saying “The more I rustle with that creative challenge, the more I realize I will never find it as long as 16 hours out of my 24 hour day I’m dedicated to uploading this video,” and that QUOTE, “I have to kill this before I can give birth to what’s next.” But, there is of course a light at the end of the tunnel, you guys. Nearing the end of the video, Casey insisted that he is not quitting YouTube completely. He went on to explain that his next moves will still involve making and producing video content, just not videos that document every move of his day-to-day life. One thing that has separated Casey from other vloggers has been the quality and authenticity of his day-to-day videos, so there is no doubt in our minds that this style combined with a whole new fuel and thirst for success will produce some new kick-ass content.
