How to Use a Voice Command to Take a Pictures with Galaxy S4 (S3 too). Note you can use Voice Command to start video recorder too but that is it! In my opinion this camera voice command is better then the self- timer as with the timer you need to reset it after each photo. With voice command you just keep saying "SMILE" "SMILE" "SMILE" and snap, snap, snap! You have four commands to take a snap: SMILE, CHEESE, CAPTURE, OR SHOOT. Note that the further you are the louder you will have to say "SMILE" or the other command words. To enable the camera voice command open your camera- click on the settings icon (the round thing) then click on the microphone icon. You can also enable it by going to settings- my device - voice control (swipe on) then click the word voice command you will will see the all the other voice command features in this order: Incoming calls, ChatON, Alarm, Camera, & Music.
