In this video we go over Synology’s new MR2200AC Mesh Wi-Fi Router. The MR2200AC is the world’s first WPA3-certified Wi-Fi Router and features mesh networking technology. WPA3 security is the successor to the more commonly used WPA2 security certification and improves the security of your Wi-Fi network. A single MR2200AC router can cover an ample 185 square metre area, and if this isn’t enough, you can add multiple units together to blanket your home or business in Wi-Fi. If you already own a Synology RT2600AC Wi-Fi Router, you can update the firmware to SRM version 1.2 to use it together with MR2200AC to create a mesh Wi-Fi network.
