[TV ZONE] The Hanyang City Wall in Seoul, a Rest Area for Seoulites HD

20.08.2013
After King Taejo, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty, moved the capital of his country to Hanyang (present day Seoul), he constructed the Hanyang City Wall (18.6 ㎞). The wall connected the four surrounding mountains and served as protection for the capital city. The Naksan Section from Hyehwamun Gate to Heunginjimun Gate is a popular place where visitors can take a stroll along the gentle slopes and village paths and take in the splendid landscape. Watching the sunset from the city wall and taking in the nighttime view are two of the most beautiful sights to see. This is truly a place where visitors can enjoy a relaxing moment right in the heart of Seoul.
