It bypasses physical shields so it works like a charm against Shells and Arthurs. However on the other side Atomzier has more range it is very accurate when not heated and it has no reload. Considering all these balancing factors I think both weapons can be chosen depending on personal preference. Which pro aspect you are prefer more? Countering physical shields and high HP targets? then go for the Igniter. If you want to stay out of the 350m range brawling zone with decent accuracy and no worry for a reload then go for the Atomizer. In current meta I prefer Igniter build combined with lockdown ammo.
