Emergency Dispatch 00:03: (LaDonna Wright, Assistant Watch Commander - Office of Unified Communications) We talk to Montgomery County, we talk to other jurisdictions, metro, park, Secret Service. We all at one point in time have to collaborate. 00:13: (Jacob Kishter, Commander - Metropolitan Police Department) So there has to be a good relationship and partnership between the Metropolitan Police Department and the Office of Unified Communications because they are separate agencies. 0:21: (Desirae Dammons, 9-1-1 Call Taker - Office of Unified Communications) We receive calls from a lot of different other agencies as well. They may have transferred calls or sometimes they’ll call with a lookout from something that may have happened in their county. 00:29: (Jacob Kishter, Commander - Metropolitan Police Department) A lot of our federal partners help us engage in more of the serious types of criminal investigations. We also share radio interoperability with them as well and all of that is coordinated through the Office of Unified Communications. 00:43: (Bianca Bennett, Police Dispatcher - Office of Unified Communications) We have to make sure that we share all pertinent information, that everyone is informed and that everyone gets what they need in order to perform their duties.
