Alishan Forest Railway celebrates 107 years with two steam locomotives HD

The Alishan Forest Railway marked its 107th anniversary on Monday. Officials celebrated by firing up the railway's last two working steam locomotives. Dozens of railway enthusiasts gathered for the rare sight of two steam locomotives in action.The Shay locomotives, SL-31 and SL-25, are each 104 years old. Rail fans were able to photograph them side-by-side as they glided along swiveling tracks against a picturesque alpine backdrop.
