Steam to North Thoresby - Easter Gala - Part Two HD
Continuing our look at the complicated four loco operations over the Easter weekend. Steam to North Thoresby - Easter Gala 2010 A wet miserable morning turned to gorgeous sunshine in the afternoon when four steam locos worked a four-coach train between the two Lincolnshire villages of Ludborough and North Thoresby, on Bank Holiday Monday - Easter 2010. Locos involved were:- 6430 - Great Western Railway 0-6-0PT from the Llangollen Railway, MSC 70 Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0T from The Swindon & Cricklade Railway, Millom - Hudswell Clarke 0-4-0ST from Quainton Road and 1438 - Peckett 0-4-0ST from Scunthorpe Steel Works. We hope that the LWR had a successful weekend and managed to pay for these attractions - with a profit which will enable them to continue their long struggle to bring steam to Lincolnshire.
