Peru: President Vladimir Putin arrives in Lima for APEC HD

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Lima to attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit on Saturday. During his time in the Peruvian capital Putin is scheduled to meet with several other leaders on the sidelines, including the Chinese President Xi Jinping, Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, and the Filipino President Rodrigo Duterte. A separate meeting between the Russian leader and outgoing US President Barack Obama has not been arranged, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitri Peskov.
